August Update

Not as much of a happy update this time, I'll try and keep it to a minimum as I'm not posting it for a pity party, just sometimes life will test you and you didn't know you had to study.

Also I know it's now September but whatever!

So basically last month I found out I was being let go from work, which was a bit of hit to me, I left a (albeit miserable) 9 year career, to join a company that actually requested me, the company was then sold but the owner assured me that the new venture they were keeping me on for would pay my way just the same... 2 years on and I get let go, there were a lot of pros and cons working there but I was expecting to get more than 2 years out of it. So now with a year left to go on paying off my PC and a mortgage looming over me, I'm in a slight panic, planning on going freelance to offer similar services I was doing at the job I'm at, but the transition is going to be terrifying, I also don't know how much this is going to affect my cashflow which sucks as this job was probably the only one I've had that's offered a decent work/life balance...

Anyway, enough of that, I've been a bit better at uploading some of the backlog of my doodles, usually try and get one piece up each week if I can, this week though, this update! I've got a couple more bits I've been working on and hope to have more for you soon.

Also with the whole job news I might.... might... offer some really cheap commissions, headshots or something, see how that goes. That's depending on the time I have free from freelancing but if that does interest you let me know, say £5 for a headshot with an undisclosed time frame (I'd like to say a month max from starting it but again, depends on how busy freelancing keeps me), I'd probably do five in the first run.

My love life is still awesome with my wonderful boyfriend who has supported me massively since the news about the job but hopefully I have some better news about the work situation come the end of September.
